For the large size (shown on the front, or page 1, of the pattern) it takes 630 yards or 3 skeins of Color A, and 2 skeins, or 420 yds of Color B. For a large, 3 color version, use about 350 yds of each color.

The smaller size (shown on the back, or page 2 of the pattern,) it takes 250 yards each of A, B and C, or for a 2 color small version, use 500 yards A and 250 yards B.

If different amounts are used, it will not matter that much. You can switch yarns or stop knitting anytime, or keep going to use up every inch of your stash and make a giant piece!

This is a pattern that can be knit with any amount, weight, or texture of yarn, the stitching is really straightforward, and it can be worn like a cape, scarf-like, or wrapped around the body and fastened like a tunic with JUL Designs closures. I like it done in 2 or 3 colors, but a one-color version would be nice, and it could also be a crazy stashbuster!
