RBK stands for Rhinebeck where the NY Sheep & Wool Festival takes place every third weekend of October.
These Fingerless Mitts were designed for the local Yarn store in Rhinebeck, “The Knitting Garage at AL Stickle” which is in the back and part of AL Stickle Variety store, one of the few remaining Five and Dime stores and still run by the same family since 1946.

The pattern has sections of both Fair Isle (in the ribbing) and Intarsia (the sheep and RBK motifs), but can also be worked in just one color. You can play with the colors for either a classic or modern look.

The pattern is written in two sizes S/M (6-7 inch circumference) and L (7-8 inch circumference) for a comfortable fit.

You will need approximately 120 yards of the MC and 40 yards of the CC.
