these gloves are the first i’ve made for MYSELF! which is really, a very big deal. chances are as you begin to knit you’ll think i’ve gone all but completely bonkers because they will looks small. like, toddler small. but fear not. i swear to you they will stretch like granny’s waist band. the ribbing is to blame for this and is also the beauty behind the perfectly snug fit.

these gloves can be knit by anyone who can increase and work in the round. they’re easy enough and simple enough and absolutely chic.

if you’re up for it, make them bigger for the man in your life! just cast on more stitches and remember to work 1x1 rib for half of them and knit the other half. you’ll have to increase a few more in the gusset, too but i think it’ll be worth it. these would be an excellent gift for a fella.

The pattern is now available in French!
