Notes:

1. This top is worked flat from side to side as two rectangles, which are seamed at the shoulders and along the sides.
2. The detail at the color change is meant to create the illusion of a seam. If you like seaming (or don’t love intarsia), consider using the schematic to make the color blocks as separate pieces, then sewing everything together at the end.
3. Because garter stitch is stretchy lengthwise and the piece is knit side-to side, you can get away with choosing a size that is quite a bit smaller than your actual bust measurements, but 2–4” 5-10 cm of negative ease is recommended.
