Red Sky at Night is a fun asymmetrical triangular shawl that uses slipped stitches and color changes to create a beautiful all-over mosaic pattern.

Emma’s Yarn DK Theme Packs make perfectly curated palettes!

The star stitches create a beautiful gradient resembling stained glass on the front of the shawl, and the back side is stunning as well.

Size: 60 x 45” / 152.5 x 114cm.

Needles: US 8 / 5.0mm or size to obtain gauge; circular, at least 24” / 60cm.

Gauge: 20 sts and 27 rows = 4”/ 10cm in Star stitch pattern.

Yarn: DK in at least two colors:

MC: 500 yards; and
CCs: any number of colors totaling 460 yards.
