This pattern was originally published as Knit Purl’s’s contribution to the 2014 Rose City Yarn Crawl, February 27 - March 2, 2014 in Portland, Oregon.

Each shop’s pattern(s) will be available free with purchase at that shop during the Rose City Yarn Crawl. All patterns will also be available for download individually or as part of our 2014 eBooks: Neighborhood Knits & Crochets Too, Neighborhood Knits, Neighborhood Crochets.

This design was inspired by the glass windows of Downtown’s architecture reflecting back and forth in our rivers and puddles. The mix of old ornate buildings and new modern ones is reflected in the color combinations of the yarns and in the juxtaposition of the simple lines of the edging and the main body knit in variegated yarn.
