Meet the smaller, more casual little sister of the circular Renaissance Shawl! Like its older sister, it is worked from the top down and crocheted off in the traditional manner. It can be worn several ways, and will stay securely around your shoulders. Knit yours in sock, sport, or DK yarn. I used a size 6 (or 7 if you’d like a larger shawl) circular needle with a gauge of 5 sts = 1” blocked (due to all the YO’s), but it’s up to you how large and how lacy you’d like your shawl to be. I made an effort to knit loosely, so as to emphasize the openness of the lace.

Materials: approximately 450 yds sock-weight yarn (your choice of fiber)
29” circular needle size 6
crochet hook size C
magnetic board to keep track of rows
