The wonderful thing about this blanket is that it has a seamless, all in one reversible cable border that is worked at the same time as the body of the blanket. I have chosen a simple garter stitch for the centre, but you can work the cable border on any other centre pattern you choose.
I have included an alternative centre pattern chart for you to try. This blanket can be worked in any weight yarn and be made to any size. I will give a material list for the sample I worked in DK weight, but feel free to make it in any yarn you like, it’s easy to adjust the pattern.
Size: 80 cm ( 32”) square ( blocked), adjustable
To change the size of the blanket, add an extra 4 repeats of the cable pattern per 10 cm or 4” That is 2.5 cm or 1 “ per repeat.
