This scarf is inspired by a beautiful skein of ArtYarns Ensemble Glitter Light, Iris Schreier’s lacy cables and reversible cable techniques found on YouTube. It is my very first written pattern, and has only been knit once, by me. I hope it is clear and without errors, but feel free to send me feedback :-)

After completing the scarf, beads and all, I see that it could probably be knit in a variety of yarns, with or without beads and fringe.

The gauge is not important, it depends on how lacy you want it. But I recommend a swatch just to see how the cables behave, you don’t want the rib to be obvious.

I have made an attempt to chart the pattern in addition to written instructions, the chart is on the last page.

I loved making this, and I’m very happy to share it with all you happy Ravelers, so enjoy!

Update Jan 22nd: I made some small changes to the English version and uploaded a new file. Nothing major, so have a look before you decide whether to print it again if you already have.

I also added the Norwegian pattern file, which is the Reversible Ruby_NO
