What’s more fun than knitting little stranded mittens in the wintertime?!

Reykjavik is worked in the round with a rolled cuff, Latvian braids, stranded colorwork and an Icelandic influence. Thumbs are part welt, part flap for a lovely fit.

Reykjavik is one of 3 stranded mitten patterns in the 3 Little Mittens collection, along with Delft and Aberdeen. And in case you’re wondering, the sweater the model is wearing is Olafsdottir

Yarn: Sunday Knits 3 ply (sport weight) in Nirvana (92% merino, 8% cashmere), Angelic (75% merino, 25% angora), Eden (100% merino), and/or Brigadoon (100% merino tweed):
1 skein (246 yd / 225 m per 50 g) each of: main color for contrasting color; 1 mini skein (99 yd / 90 m per 20 g) each of: cuff color and highlight color for Latvian braid.

Needles & notions: Size 2 / 2.75 mm double-pointed or circular needles; markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Skills needed: Reading charts, stranded colorwork.
