This is a simple, cuff-down sock intended to be ‘comfort’ knitting-- the kind of project you grab when you want something soothing and relaxing to work-- with just a little bit of texture thrown in for interest. The pattern works particularly well with variegated yarns and is written with beginners in mind, with many steps explained in detail and a photo tutorial about picking up gusset stitches included at the end.

The pattern is both written and charted. It is written for four sizes that can be worked at four different gauges with fingering, sport, or DK weight yarn to fit a variety of foot sizes, from 6” (15 cm) to 12” (30 cm) circumference, appropriate for both men and women. See bottom photo for size chart.

The pattern has been tested by wonderful test knitters: fonenurse, lindse, redsocksrules, and kokki. Thank you so much for all of your great work and feedback!
