NOTE: I lost my original file so a tester kindly scanned their printout and sent it to me. It’s all I have left.

This hat was designed by me and has been converted into a 5-page PDF pattern with round-by-round instructions, charts, and photographs to help you along the way. This hat will fit most adult heads. Instructions are given BOTH as written instructions AND as charts, so you can choose which method you prefer!

Skills needed:
-Knitting in the round
-Cabling
-Decreasing
-Basic stitches (knit, purl, yarn over, knit two together - other stitches are explained in the PDF)

Materials needed:
-About 100-140 yards worsted weight yarn of your choice
-Size 8 (5mm) 16” circular needle (or longer needles if you prefer magic loop method, or DPNs)
-Cable needle
-Size 8 (5mm) double-pointed needles (DPNs) for decreases
-Stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round
-Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge: Achieving an exact gauge is not important for this project.

This pattern has been tested by me and 4 others.

YOU MAY NOT sell my pattern, but please feel free to make and sell as many hats as you wish! I would appreciate credit as the designer, but it is not necessary.
