The River City Wrap is a garter stitch lace wrap knit from end to end on the bias. The pattern works great with mini-skein sets, yarn Advent calendars, and yarn scraps of at least 10g each.

Make the wrap as long as you’d like by adding or removing sections. Instructions for making changes to the width are also included. Have fun making it your own!

Both charted and written instructions are provided.

Suggested Yarn: Rich Hill Yarns Fingering, 75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon, 12 Mini Skein Set (1 set)

Yarn Requirements: Approx 1100 total yards/1006 meters of fingering weight yarn, approx 10g/45 yards/41 meters per section

Fade version shown was knitted with the Suburban Stitcher “Suburban Fade” 2020 Advent Calendar.

This pattern is a love letter to Richmond, VA. ❤️ We moved here in August 2019 and fell completely in love with the city. When I discovered the Rich Hill Yarns at my local yarn shop, I knew they needed to be the focal point of this pattern.

The Rich Hill Yarns colorways (there are 12 of them) are all inspired by and named for local Richmond landmarks, many of which I’ve visited and still some are left to be discovered!

This wrap uses one mini-skein set (20g minis, one in each of the 12 colors) from Rich Hill Yarns.
