These socks have it all. There’s a party going on in the front and just plain business in the back. The patterned front includes an easy-to-follow cable and lace pattern (memorizable; is that a word?) and includes both written and charted instructions (charted by my test knitter Sarah Hodgson - thanks Sarah)!

This pattern is designed for:

  1. Cuff down
  2. Afterthought heel
  3. Kitchener Stitch to close the toes and heels 4, Magic loop technique

Hack the pattern however you are most comfortable knitting socks. The design will be in reverse for toe-up knitters, but that should not change the basic cable & lace design much.
