The first Robins of spring have emerged, their melodic songs ringing clear through the spring air. The last of the snow is melting quicky, dwindling into puddles that evaporate quickly in the daylight. The air is fresh and slightly humid, carrying long forgotten scents of earth. Daffodils & crocuses have begun to peek from the earth & sunlight streams through the tree branches, just beginning to bud.

This cowl is cast on provisionally, worked flat & then grafted or seamed into a loop. Stitches are then picked up around the neckline edge and ribbing is worked to complete the cowl.
