I’m so excited to be able to release my First Knitted Design!

After many years of ignoring my knitting needles & only crocheting, I decided a few months back to pick up my knitting needles again & begin designing there as well.

I had so much fun coming up with this design! It incorporates all of my favorite things about fiber work! It has texture, color, interesting shapes, a beautiful design & a few other things you have to look for in order to see the surprises in your finished work! Best of all, I came up with this design especially for a wonderful friend & was able to gift the finished item to her & she loved it! That part always makes me Happy & I love it when my designs get to be loved by my friends & family!

So without any further ado, I introduce to you the Rochelle’s Geometric Knit Hat!

This is an Intermediate level pattern written in Standard Knitting Terms.

You will need:
Size 9 or 5.50mm 16 or 24” Circular knitting needles
Size 9 or 5.50mm Double Pointed needles
Worsted weight yarn in 4 colors
Tapestry Needle

Skills Required:
Ability to Cast On
Ability to do the Knit Stitch
Ability to do the Purl Stitch
Ability to Decrease in Knit & Purl
Ability to Carry & Switch Colors using a Two-Stranded Knitting Technique
Ability to join in the round using an invisible join
Ability to Finish off & weave in ends
