This is an easy sweater with minimal finishing: the sleeves are picked up and worked from the shoulder down, so there are only the side seams to finish, and the neck stitches are picked up and worked at the end.

The pattern is for sizes 6, 12 or 18 months (finished chest measurement: 19”/21”/23”) plus a matching hat.

The pattern calls for worsted weight yarn that will work up at 4 sts =1” in Stockinette stitch on size 7 needles, and includes a full-color graphed chart for the design.

The sweater is a roomy, drop-shouldered roled neck pullover with rolled cuffs. The matching hat has a ribbed bottom that fits over the ears comfortably without binding.

The sweater shown is shown in navy with a red car, and the hat in navy with a red loop. Feel free to have fun with color combinations!
