Roman Numerals Crochet Lap Afghan Blanket Pattern

Intermediate Level Pattern written in US Crochet Terms

Geometric shapes, numerology & roman mythology have always fasinated me. They have inspired my art & my creativity ever since I can remember.

As a child I remember staring at shapes & colors thinking about how interesting they were & how they could be used for other things.
I also have an obsession with being able to turn the pictures in my head into actual creations & that is what inspired me to come up with this design.

This particular pattern came about after spending some time with the Roman Numeral 4 (IV). ;) I sat there one day just doodling it on a piece of paper & ended up filling up the whole page with it. I stepped back & looked at it & thought, “This would make a cool Crochet pattern!” And so the Roman Numerals Lap Afghan was born!

This is a very lightweight open worked type of stitching so it’s perfect for all the warm weather seasons or even just those cooler nights when you only need a light weight blanket.

The stitching works up very quickly & you should be able to complete a finished project in just a few hours time.

You can use any type of yarn for this pattern.

The Gauge will vary based on the weight of the yarn.
