Rosa Flower~pdf format
This is my popular Rosa Crochet flower available in a pdf format. The pdf pattern also includes the pattern for the leaves as well. The flower is also pictured felted, and the pdf pattern includes directions for felting. In designing this crochet rose pattern, I wanted something with a flat back in order to attach a pin or barrette to the back easily. I also dislike crocheting roses in the strip method. Rolling it up and sewing it together is just not for me. You first make a circle, then work around the spiral to form the rose. This creates the nice flat back for attaching a pin or barrette, but also for attaching to other items. There is also a nice round of unworked loops left on the last round for neatly sewing without having the stitches show. This pattern was created and named as a tribute to my mother, Rosa. Please note that changes were made to the first petal of the rose from the original pattern in the pdf version.
Examples shown working in Simply Soft yarn with an H hook. However make this with whatever you have using hook size recommended by the yarn manufacturer.
