The soft pink sock yarn I used for the prototype gave these socks their name: knee-high socks with an easy eyelet pattern and some ribbing in the ankle area to help them stay in shape and hug your leg in style. You can easily change size by adding or omitting 8sts.

This pattern can encourage you to add some openwork to your sock knitting, it is therefore friendly to advanced beginners. I like knitting my socks on dpns, being a rather loose knitter when knitting on the round, I feel my gauge is better when I use the dpns. Of course, you can opt for your favourite method, but, if this is the case, you’ll need more markers to help you divide your sts.
Happy knitting!
