I am so pleased to offer the Rossland In The Springtime Shawl to the Ravelry commmunity. Sarah Elizabeth’s yarn in divine and such a pleasure to gather around your shoulders.

This shawl was inspired by the beautiful and magestic Rocky Mountains. The snow caps, give way to the boulders, give way to the tree line and trickling streams that feed the rivers. An ecosystem of diversity, seasons and astonishing vistas.

  • This is a large shawl with options to make it smaller….just stop knitting
  • I didn’t want to skimp on this design because I had the yarn and I had the time
  • This shawl drapes wonderfully around the neck and shoulders to take away the chill

Design Details:

  • Knit flat increasing stitches from 3 -300 or when you want to stop.
  • Stripes are free form and may be symmetrical if you have enough yarn

The pattern is written line by line as my knitting students had requested. So easy to follow as you knit.
