This cowl is great for using up some of those mini skeins (or remnants) you’ve been collecting. Grab a few minis and a coordinating skein and whip up a comfy cozy cowl.

The pattern is written for one main colour plus five minis, but it’s easy to use more or fewer to make a cowl the perfect length for you.

Recommended needle size: 3.25 mm and 3.5 mm 16-inch circular needles - or needles required to achieve gauge

Gauge: 24 stitches over 4 inches in stockinette - gauge isn’t overly important but it will affect the final size. The most important thing is to achieve a fabric you like

Size: Approximately 11 inches wide by 12 inches long

Yarn requirements: Main colour (MC) 220 yards and five contrast colours (CCs) 60 yards each; all in fingering weight yarn

Cowls shown in Ginger Snap Zest in Silver Lining (MC) with five unnamed minis (CCs) and Hazel Knits Artisan Sock in Sassafras (MC) with five minis (CCs) - Grass Stain, Bloom, Midas, Cornflower and Fresh Cut
