This pattern is a super-simple, one-row repeat! I designed this especially for these stressful times, during the pandemic, so you can have something mindless, but still beautiful, to work on. I do hope you enjoy it!

This shawl is a little different because the ruffles are square! This causes a beautiful, interesting effect when draped. Please experiment with styling until you find a way that is comfortable for you to wear. I found using a shawl pin very helpful.

A note about cake size - The sample for this shawl was made using a 740 yard cake, which makes quite a long shawl. For a shorter shawl, use a 540 yard cake - your shawl will also be just a bit narrower when using a smaller cake.

Gauge is not very important as long as you are happy with the drape of your shawl. Experiment with different-sized yarns and hooks.
