This sun dress was originally designed for my cousin’s baby, Sadie. The skirt is knit in the round, and the bodice is worked back and forth in stripes and finished off with a crochet edging. Buttons on the straps make it easy to slip over baby’s head. The skirt is knit plain to accommodate any embroidery idea that strikes your fancy such as a whale, flowers, hearts, etc…

Pattern contains instructions for dress chest measurements 17” (18¾”, 21½”).
