Saint Helena is a set of fingerless mitts, great for keeping you warm while driving, knitting, or typing. These mitts are for people who have things to do!

They are knit in the round, using aran weight yarn, simple color changes such as striping and some minimal stranding, and can use bits and bobs left over from other projects quite easily. Knit in aran weight yarn, it is a quick project as well.

I used a silk and cashmere blend, and my test knitters used everything from easy care acrylic to wool. This is a versatile pattern and can be modified as well. One test knitter did her thumbs in a single color, another did her mitts in two colors rather than three. Have fun!

Finished Measurements: 7 1/2 (8 1/2) inches / 19 (21) cm

Skills Required: Knitting in the round, chart reading, stranded color knitting, increasing and decreasing.
