I’m sure every kid has heard the story of how St. Patrick became the patron saint of Ireland because he drove out the snakes. We all know that’s not the truth, but these snakey cables made me think of the story.

Finished Size: S (M, L) 7” (8”, 9” around), unstretched

Yarn: Neighborhood Fiber Company Studio Sock, 100% SW Merino/20% Nylon, 400 yards/100g (Sample knit in Clintonville)

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or two circular needles size 1 US (2.5 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 8 stitches per inch in stockinette, knit in the round.
