This lightweight cowl features two design motifs with two different colors. Inspired by my love of the beach and ocean-front, Sand & Sky showcases sand-dune-like lace stitching in a light, dusty neutral tone, and a serene starry sky using a deeper, duskier blue tone.

This is a cozy and comfortable cowl that is easily modified to meet different needs and tastes. Play around with colors, too, to take you to different places - green and pale yellow for a summer day in the hills, blue and black for midnight on the ocean…see where it takes you.

Uses approximately half a ball of each Knit Picks Palette color selected, for total yardage of approximately 231 yards. Colors used for this model: Oyster Heather (for the sand); Pool (for the starry sky). Knitters are encouraged to try new color combinations!

Finished (and blocked) measurements are approximately 13” tall, 22” circumference. This is easily modified by increasing needle size, or casting on more stitches (in repeat sets of 8), or repeating stitch pattern more than the indicated number of times for longer length.
