This beanie-style hat features several sections of easy colorwork/stranded-knitting patterns. It is the perfect way to use up a group of mini-skeins or scrap yarns, and a great way to learn colorwork. Mix and match colors to create your own personal favorite palette. The brim is worked in a solid-color ribbing. Concentric decreases within the colorwork pattern shape the crown of the hat.

You will need 6 colors of a fingering-weight yarn to knit the pattern as written in various small amounts. The sample was knit using Wooly Wonka Fibers Rhiannon Sock mini-skeins, 46 yards/10 g skeins. Sample used 5 colors: Peacock (MC), Ariel (CC1), Seafoam (CC2), Brocade (CC3), and Copper Rivet (CC4), 2 of the MC and 1 each of the contrast colors.
