Santa Saurus Sweater
Whilst a Dino with a Santa Hat might be irresistible during the festive season, you might want to extend its appeal by removing the Santa Hat afterwards. After all a Dinosaur is not just for Christmas.
I thought that Santa Saurus was looking a lost without the Santa hat, so using the magic that is duplicate stitch, ROAR
The updated version of the pattern now includes the ROAR chart and instructions on how to modify your sweater.
This adorable baby sweater is sized from birth to 5 years. A simple stocking stitch construction with garter trims is a breeze to knit and would make a great first sweater project. There is one Chart which is worked using the intarsia method on the front of the sweater. And Arm, Hat and Spikes are knitted and sewn on. Add a couple of buttons and some embroidered on teeth you have yourself a dashing Dino for the festivities.
The sample shown is knit in King Cole, Big Value DK, but would work well in any DK weight yarn. Perfect stash buster!
