Knitting Pattern Holiday Stockings with Santas and Christmas Trees Fair Isle Stranded Instructions for Knit Holiday Sock

This is a knitting pattern (instructions) for Christmas stockings with Christmas trees and Santa faces. It contains a detailed, 12 page instruction how to cast on, turn the heel and shape the toe. A basic understanding of fair isle/ stranded knitting and knitting on double point needles is an advantage. I would rate this pattern as intermediate to advanced. The pattern contains lots of photographs and the charts for both stockings.

The pattern also contains an alphabet chart and instructions how to add a name to the top of the stocking to make it a personalized Christmas stocking.

Christmas conjures up soothing memories - the scent of pine and cinnamon, the crackle and warmth of a fire, and time-honored traditions that thrill hearts young and old in equal measure. One of the most delightful of these traditions is the Christmas stocking. Whether your family dives into stockings bursting with treats the night before Christmas or early in the morning before the main event, the hanging of empty stockings always elicits a tiny thrill of expectation.

Knit your own Christmas stockings for this year’s Christmas. No doubt will they secure the admiration of young and old in your festively decorated home. The pattern also provides instructions and charts for creating personalized Christmas stockings, which would make them even more special and unique. This is a very rewarding knit, though it can be challenging for a newbie knitter.

You may sell items made from this pattern (they sell really well!), but please don’t sell the pattern itself.

This is a very satisfying project that looks amazing (I get many compliments), but it’s actually not too difficult and quick to knit once you get the hang of it. I’m around to answer questions if you’re stuck.
