A draw cord snood
“A simple stocking stitch snood with a draw cord tie. Wear as either a cowl neck scarf or as a draw cord hood.” - Jo Storie
Knitted measurements approx:
Cowl neck snood (one size)
Height - 28cm (11in)
Circumference - 82cm (33in)
Ability: Beginner
You will need:
• one 8mm (US 11) 40cm (15¾in) circular or pair of straight needles
• two 8mm (US 11) double pointed needles
• a tapestry needle for sewing
• a stitch marker.
Skills required:
• This is a beginners’ project and you should know how to work in basic stocking stitch on either circular or straight needles and be able to make simple button holes.
