Finishing the Savannah Wrap:
Soak your lace piece in warm water for at least 20 minutes to relax the fibers so that they’ll move where you want them to move. Remove your lace from the water and wrap up or roll in a towel. Don’t wring or twist your work, simply role up without adding any friction, and then apply pressure to the rolled lace while enveloped by the towel. Roughly align the cloth on a flat surface that you will be able to put pins into. When you go to pin, put the pin in at an angle away from the work. Place a T pin at the tip of every point. You want to be sure the points are even. Allow the piece to dry for at least 24 hours.
