We all love a snugly scarf especially when the weather starts to turn and oversized scarves are a versatile must have in any wardrobe that can take us right through the seasons! But due to their size they’re often seen as too heavy and cumbersome and don’t get the wear they deserve.

Scarf Number 4 has the size to allow for great styling as both a scarf and a wrap, but because it uses 4 ply yarn you get the warmth without the weight.

This 3 skein design has a satisfying mix of stitch patterns to add subtle texture and interest to the knit and looks fantastic in both solid and variegated yarns. It is an ideal project for all abilities. It’s got slight challenge if you’re a beginner looking to push yourself, but it’s satisfying enough to keep you more seasoned knitters entertained.

For such a large knit, it is a relatively quick project as the pattern is quite rhythmic and you can find yourself lost in it. It’s the perfect box set companion, but if you want to take your time and savour the pattern, it’s also very easy to pick up and put down.

But however you choose to knit this pattern, I hope you get as much enjoyment out of it as I have. You certainly won’t regret adding it to yours or someone else’s wardrobe.

Happy knitting!
