Scooter is a cute little sea turtle that’s fun and fast to knit and makes a perfect gift for the little guy or girl in your life (or for yourself!). A textured shell adds interest to your knitting, while his completely seamless construction makes him quick to work up for baby showers and very special birthdays.

Pattern includes both charted and fully written instructions, and also comes with a bonus PDF formatted especially for your e-reader or smartphone (written instructions only).

Yarn
123yd/113m of DK weight yarn.

Shown in Mirasol Yarn Lachiwa (123yd/113m per 50g skein, 60% cotton, 40% linen) in color #1405 Grass, 1 skein

Needles and Notions
US 2 (2.75mm) 40”/100cm circular needle for magic loop, or set of four DPNs
Tapestry needle
Eight stitch markers, with four locking markers
Fiberfill or scrap roving for stuffing
Black scrap yarn for eyes

Finished measurements can be easily changed by substituting a different weight of yarn. Use a needle size that is smaller than recommended by the yarn label in order to achieve a firm fabric, so stuffing won’t leak through.
