Fisherman’s rib is hands down one of the squishiest and airiest knitted fabrics I have ever encountered. It is just begging to be worked into a loose gauge cowl that keeps you warm on a cold day, without being too heavy or stifling.

The Scorpio Cowl was designed to use 2 skeins of Tosh Merino Light, however, any plump and squishy fingering weight yarn will work well. The width and length can be easily adjusted to make any size you would like!
