Scottie Dogs in four sizes
This is a crochet pattern for stuffed scottie dogs (may also be used as appliqués). The smallest scottie dog makes a cute key chain. The extra large one is meant to be a pillow.
The small dog requires just a few yards of yarn, the medium a little more. For the large one I used 100g of bulky yarn (109yds = 100m/ 100g) with a gauge of 15sc per 4inches = 10cm. The extra large version uses up a lot of yarn, about 547yds = 500m with a gauge of 20sc per 4inches = 10cm. Gauge is not important for this project. Just make sure that your stitches are tight enough to prevent the stuffing from showing through.
The small and medium scottie dog are charted and have written instructions. The large and extra large scottie dog have written instructions only too large for a handdrawn chart;-).
