Scrap Heap is the perfect slouchy beanie for those leftovers and scraps.

Construction:
Scrap Heap is knit bottom-up and seamlessly, so you’ll soon have your scraps out of the heap and on a head. Pattern includes instructions for working jogless stripes in the round as well as suggestions for striping sequence.

Sizing:
To fit actual head size of: 16/40.5, 18/45.5, 20/51, 22/56, 24/61 inches/cms.

Actual hat length is approximately: 8¼/21, 9/23, 9½/24, 10¼/26, 11¼/28.5 inches/cms.

Yardage:
Scrap Heap is graded for five different yarn weights each with a different tension/gauge; sport/5ply, dk/8ply, worsted/10ply, aran and chunky/14ply.

5ply/sport weight of approximately 95/90 (120/110, 175/160, 220/200, 270/250) yards/metres.

8ply/DK weight of approximately 85/80 (100/95, 150/140, 190/175, 230/210) yards/metres.

10ply/worsted weight of approximately 75/70 (85/80, 125/11, 160/150, 190/175) yards/metres.

Aran weight of approximately 65/60 (75/70, 110/100, 140/130, 170/155) yards/metres.

14ply/chunky weight of approximately 55/50 (65/60, 95/90, 125/115, 150/140) yards/metres.

Yardage is approximate and may vary depending on your knitting style and yarn selection.
