Summertime is that time of the year to exhale and relax as much as possible. The ocean, embodies this feeling for me as well as wonderfully cool cotton yarns. The soft green color and sweeping waves within SeaFoam depict the wonderful calming effect of a summer’s day on the beach. The small towel is a great summer project because it only requires one ball of yarn and is quickly completed. Make several or just one and pair it with a great bar of soap or lotion and you have a fabulous gift for the upcoming holiday season. Best of all the smooth feeling of cotton will not make you too hot and it is the perfect project to knit while on the beach or poolside. Later on use the same pattern with lace yarn and create a great flowing scarf for the winter to remind you summer is just a short time away.
