I have lived in many locations, but I am always from the East Coast, a proud Cape Bretoner. One of the goals for The Silver Hook, is to focus on Maritime inspired creations. There are of course the Mermaids and Mermen, and the recent addition of Louis Lobster. And now Seamus Seagull joins the crew.

Seamus Seagull is made in 11 pieces: head and body, 2 legs, 2 feet, 2 wings, 1 beak, and 3 tail feathers. Use size 4, medium weight yarn. Like most amigurumi, this piece is worked in a continuous spiral. Do not join rounds. Using a stitch marker can help keep track of rounds. Number of stitches in a round is given in brackets () at the end of each round.

This pattern listing is designated as easy. Stitches used in this pattern include, single crochet (sc), chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), decrease (sc2tog, instructions given).

Seamus is 7” long and 6” tall.
