Easy and quick hat with a wide ribbed brim and stripes up to the tippy top. The rose is optional and is a very easy knit and is attached after hat is finished. You will carry the unused color while working stripes up the inside of the hat, so you don’t have a bunch of ends to weave in.

Universal Yarns Renew Wool is a wonderful all-around wool. It uses 35% repurposed wool - recycled! I love it!

You will need size US 6 knitting needles in 16” circular and a set of four double pointed. You will use (if you want the same colors as in photograph) one skein each of color 104 and 105. This hat could be worn by a man if you leave off the rose.

I have a matching gauntlet (fingerless glove) pattern, called Second Hand Rose Gauntlets - check it out!
