Long crescent-shaped stole with dome & minaret edging, reminiscent of the Selimiye Mosque in Edirne, Turkey. This wrap is knit from the bottom up, then given gentle shaping with short rows.
Part of the Sailing To Byzantium Collection, designs inspired by the art and architecture of ancient Constantinople. Designed for the Malabrigo Freelance Pattern Project 2011.

Techniques Used: knit/purl, decreasing, short rows, bobbles.

Experience Level: Intermediate or Adventurous Beginner. Instructions for the edging are both written and charted.
