Serpent’s Tail is a simple knit with the main design element being the off center cable. The scarf gently flows back and forth until the ends where the cables are brought around the edge and up.

The scarf does not require buttons or pins as the closure is at the edge. A section is left open to allow the scarf to slip through. This scarf can be knit in any yarn and is fast moving.
