Shadows in the Rain is a biased rectangular wrap knit flat in four colors with a variety of easy lace and textured stitch patterns. Kristin Omdahl’s Be So Fine 100% bamboo yarn gives it a luxurious drape and sheen.

Finished dimensions: 27”x 84”/ 68.5cm x 213cm.

Yarn: fingering weight in four colors:

A: 150 yards/ 138 meters
B: 280 yards/ 157 meters
C: 310 yards/ 285 meters
D: 330 yards/ 303 meters

You can use any combination of four colors, but it is recommended to choose neutrals for colors B and C.

Gauge: 20 sts = 4”/10cm over Garter stitch
While the gauge is not critical, it will determine the drape and final dimensions, as well as yardage.

Needles: US 5/3.75 mm, or size to obtain gauge, plus one size larger than gauge needle.

Notions: Tapestry needle to weave in ends.

Sample knit in: Kristin Omdahl Be So Fine (100% bamboo; 650 yards/ 133g) in:
