Shimapon is the striped poncho.
Shima means “stripe” in Japanese.
I really love making ponchos and wearing ponchos. This poncho is constructed with 2 colors, 2 kinds of stitches. One is garter stitches and the other is zigzag stitches. You can adjust the length as you like because this is worked from top-down. I am sure this poncho will be your favorite one!
