Merino yarn, held double, 16dc = 10cm/ 4inches

Size can easily be adapted. For a smaller size (preemie, newborn, doll/ teddy bear) I’d suggest to take a smaller hook and yarn.
For a bigger size add rows to the raglan part. Every row will give 8more stitches = 5cm/ 2inches. And adapt the lace chart to your number of stitches. You can also take any other pattern stitch for the lower part.
