Silver Storm is a very special cowl. Made with the Feel Good Yarn Company’s Silver Spun Sock, in collaboration with their Year of the Designer series, composed of 5% silver and a combination of cotton with a small amount of Spandex and nylon, it is cotton that doesn’t stretch out.

Silver Storm is incredibly soft while holding its shape, wicking away moisture while attracting heat and insulating with the silver (which is not visible; you won’t have a metallic appearing cowl.) It’s one of my favorite accessories because it creates a comfortable cloud around my neck and it looks good with almost anything. It is truly the cowl you don’t want to take off!

There are two different ways that you can finish it: Leave the rib with the garter accents (bottom two photos) or follow the directions to drop multiple stitches in a row for a slightly looser, more graphic look.
