This is a very simple baby blanket.
The lace pattern is suitable for a beginner who can work a yo and simple decreases. The pattern is both written and charted.

There are two versions, one is an embossed leaf and the second is its lacy sister.

Included are directions for the blanket in 3 different weights. One is sure to fit your needs and maybe match some yarn on hand.

The first is worked up in scrumptious Malabrigo worsted yarn. The softness and colors of Malabrigo worsted are legendary and the stuff of endless gushing :-) Add to that this very easy pattern and you have a simple pleasure. Soft yarn combined with a pattern easy enough to remember and fun to work as you complete the leaves.

Perhaps you are looking to make an instant blanket! You may prefer a second option, Malabrigo Chunky! So soft and squishy! Perfect for when you need it now.

Also, included are directions for the blanket worked up in Malabrigo sock. It makes a lovely a light weight blanket that would be perfect for a nursing coverup. It is light enough to be comfortable for your little one; with just enough lace for looking out yet solid enough to maintain your privacy It is also great for keeping baby warm. Don’t let the thin fabric fool you. I have several lacy scarves made of Malabrigo sock that are both light weight and very warm even in very cold temperatures. Another advantage of the sock yarn is that it is machine washable!

It is nice to have the different options. As a bonus I am including a recipe for making any custom size you have in mind. Maybe you want a chunky throw or a long lacy wrap. You will have the instructions to make a project to suit your individual preferences.

If you have questions about the sizes available check out my project notes they should have all the info you need.
(It is too much to add here.)

I am here on ravlery daily and will be happy to answer any questions or offer any support needed.
