At the beginning of February a friend and Ravelrer saw this pattern for an amazing jacket project http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/aurikel and asked me if I could think about the possibility of turning the original pattern into a shawl.

After asking permission from the designer to show my interpretation of her work, I finally came up with the Sinfonia das Folhas (Leaves Symphony) shawl pattern.

A big thank you to Signe S. Simonsen for allowing me to use her pattern as an inspiration and to Filcona´s owner for allowing me to publish the pattern.

Another big thank you to the lovely model who posed with the shawl.

Top down construction and half-circle shape
Gauge is not particularly important with this pattern. The sample pictured has a span of about 165 cm width
