Knit yourself a soft, cotton bag to hold your soap, with a variety of easy to intermediate patterns for texture and ‘scrubability’.

This pouch is the perfect size for a bar of soap and will keep your soap safe from slipping away, act as a soapy flannel around the soap as you clean yourself, and then let you hang it up to store and dry.

Great for keeping ends of bars of soap together to form into one bar. It can also be used as a little gift bag, or for storage, or whatever you want! Makes a wonderful gift paired with a hand-made bar of soap or shampoo.

You will be pleased to know that these bags are completely seamless. I hate sewing up seams, so I have developed a way to pick up stitches from the cast on row so that you can start in linear knitting and develop it into circular - full tutorial included in pattern!

Instructions are for circular needles using magic loop only, but this can also be knitted on double-pointed needles if you prefer.

Finished dimensions:
Width: 3.5” / 9cm
Height: 4.5” / 11.5cm
(plus quite a bit of stretch in both directions!)

Time required: 30-60 minutes

Difficulty: Easy to intermediate (knowledge of knitting in the round with magic loop)
