NOTE!
This pattern applies a new kind of heel. Rounded heel #roundedheel

Skogens socks are worked on two circular needles with a magic loop from the toe up.
The pattern is easier to knit than it may appear. It uses cable knit stitch mixed with lace
stitches as well.

Why Skogens?
Just because of the colour. These socks were knitted at a time when I was spending a lot of time in the woods. The Swedish
woods are still green in early autumn, that is why I came up with the name „Skogens” which is an adjective and means
„forest” in our language.
The yarn used in this pattern is just like a forest in Sweden, still green, but the cold weather tries to break through at the
same time, making the colours fade a little bit.

Skill Level: Intermediate. The pattern requires basic knowledge of toe up sock construction, magic cast on by Judy
Becker, increases, decreases, cabling, short rows and chart reading.
More difficult techniques are shown in the video tutorials.

This pattern:

  1. Includes written instructions as well as the chart ones.
  2. Provides 2 separately charted sizes for 56 or 64 stitches. (Actual yarn usage will depend on the size you are making and the length of the foot, which is adjustable. So the yardage is approximate). 3. Applies a new kind of heel. Rounded heel. #roundedheel

Sizes: two sizes, 35-37, 38-41
Foot Length: adjustable to fit
Leg Length: adjustable to fit
